Only a small number of Bocote wallets were made due to the limited availably of this rare and exotic wood species from South America. Bocote (buh-co’-ta) is easily recognizable by the jagged black lines that shoot across its earth-colored surface in unpredictable ways. Bocote is also extremely tough, measuring at 2,010 lb/f on the wood hardness scale, nearly 2X the hardness of Black Walnut!
